Instead of boosting the flavor of an existing batch made by PS, I decided to make my own batch from scratch. I followed the mix ratio (2.78x) and used the flavor shot liquid, food-grade VG, and nic juice from another supplier. The result was a flavor that is definitely not the same quality as the ready-made PS variety. The culprit was the inferior nic juice I used. It had a bit of an odor and taste that was less than savory. The lesson: if you try using the flavor shots to make your own batch from scratch, make sure your other ingredients are of the highest quality. Doing that will give you a nice flavor at a bulk cost.
