Get one before they are gone. There is no comparison. The increase to 5v. totally rocks. Great throat hits and vaping. The connector can be a bit of a pain at times, but overall well worth it. I'm am spoiled now on the 5v. and don't want to go back to 3.7v. I may have to grab another one to keep as a spare before they are gone. I would have loved to have got the PS Manual USBpass V2, but from what i have been told they are out and not making anymore.

I got the USB extension since I already had the protege, and because I was tired of charging batteries all day. The extension bumps up the voltage which for me was great experience compared to the 3.7V. Unfortunately the connection is very bad, when I first got it, there was a short and it would shock my hand! I found the short (exposed wire), but now the rubber grommet is getting old and I find myself needing two hands one to hold the connection in and the other to press the button(I'll be applying the duct tape fix soon, as I now have 2amp USB adapters everywhere and don't really need to open it up to insert a battery). I think I'll be getting the PS USB Passthrough eventually and using this cable for electroshock therapy :D

This thing is awesome. No more having to kill your bats by constantly recharging them; save them bats for when you are out and about. The HV vaping is awesome; always a good hit an mad vapor. It even feels like it keeps your attys cleaner so they don't clog or start flooding the way they do with the batteries as they begin to lose there charge. Got mine last night when I got home from work at 6pm and didn't put it down till 11pm. Thanks Pure Smoker for making yet another reliable device to compliment my already awesome protege 1.1 PV.

Now I can use this at home, and save my batteries for when I actually go out.
I have been using it all day. Always consistent vapor, good throat hit, and consistent nicotine delivery.
I have been vaping less while using this.
So, if you don't want to have to charge batteries all day while you're at home, get this, and save your batts for going out.
Good design, tough, thick usb wire. Should last a while.

OMG You can enjoy both 3.7v and 5v in one. One thing I don't like is that the connection part the rubber grommet dose not keep the connection very good you have to play with it constantly to make it work. My thoughts are it is way to tight for the wire to be pushed forward to make a good connection. But if you don't mind fiddling around it gives excellent vaping action
