LEGACY Adjustments: LEGACY Standard: The LEGACY standard naturally utilizes a Tenergy* protected 18650 Battery.  If you decide to use the LEGACY standard with an AW IMR 18490 + KICK, 3 or 4 washers will need to be added to the switch to make up for the length difference. If you want to us an AW IMR 18650 (or other shorter 18650 batteries) 3-4 washers will need to be added to the switch. LEGACY Standard XL: To utilize an AW IMR 18650 + KICK, a LEGACY extension sleeve will need to be purchased. Once purchased, add the sleeve to the bottom of the tube.  The KICK will be placed at the top, above the battery & below the adapter. If moving from a Tenergy* 18650 to an AW IMR 18650 + KICK, 3-4 washers will need to be added to the switch. LEGACY Mini: The LEGACY mini naturally utilizes an AW IMR 18350 Battery.  No adjustments should need to be made.  If you prefer a shorter throw, adding 1 flat washer to the switch will accomplish this. LEGACY Mini XL: To utilize an AW IMR 18350 + KICK, a LEGACY extension sleeve will need to be purchased. 2-3 Washers will need to be added to the switch to use the 18350 + KICK. Once purchased, add the sleeve to the bottom of the tube.  The KICK will be placed at the top, above the battery & below the adapter. To utilize an AW IMR 18490 alone, 3-4 washers (2 flat washers + 1 lock washer) will need to be added to the switch. LEGACY Maintenance: Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance is KEY to keeping your LEGACY in tip-top shape.  In this part of the guide, we are going to go over several things including how to keep your LEGACY clean, and steps to clean it once dirty, as well as actual maintenance of the unit itself. Cleaning: Cleaning should not be taken lightly.  We often see many of our devices come back weeks and months later that are ill performing simply because the user never took the time to thoroughly clean their device.  Layers of gunk build up can cause your device to perform quite poorly and cause quite a few issues. A) Atomizer Cleaning: We recommend blowing your atomizer out thoroughly every 6-8 hours (This does not apply to cartomizers.)    Disconnect your atomizer from your device and grab a paper towel/napkin/rag.  Blow (from the top/where you would normally inhale) through the atomizer so the liquid contents of the atomizer end up in the paper towel.  Do this several times until no more liquid is coming out.  Once done, wipe the threads of the atomizer down.  Connect the atomizer back to your device, drip 3-4 drops of liquid, and start using.  Overnight storage:  We recommend disconnecting your atomizer from the device each and every night.  This serves a couple purposes.  A)  You are disconnecting a live circuit, which in the end is safer.  B)  You might as well drain your atomizer while you are sleeping.    To drain, simply set up a piece of paper towel next to wherever your store your device for the night, set the atomizer upright on the piece of paper towel, and let it sit & drain.  In the morning, add 3-4 drops of liquid to the atomizer, connect it to your device, and you are good to go! B)  Device Cleaning & Maintenance: Adapter:  The adapter threads end up with quite a bit of juice on them.  Grab a Q-tip* – soak it in hot water – and wipe down the threads.  Make sure to do this on both sides of the adapter (tube side & atomizer/cartomizer side). Tube:  The tube itself is pretty maintenance free, minus the threads on either end.  Over time, you will start to see dirt collect.  Dirt or gunk build up will add resistance and performance will decrease.  Make sure to wipe down the threads on top and bottom at least once every couple of weeks with an alcohol swab or Q-Tip* and apply a little bit of NOALOX* (a conductive compound grease) if need be. Mechanical Switch (Bottom Button):   Our bottom buttons consist of 4 machined pieces.  These pieces are built out of stainless steel & delrin, and although stainless won’t oxidize like aluminum, it will show wear over time, and performance will diminish.  There is 1 main area that needs to be cleaned at least once a month.  That area/piece is the hex shaft that goes up & down.  Pocket lint and debris can get in there.  A moist rag/paper towel will clean it up real well! Finally found my FOREVER Mod! April 19, 2013 Reviewer: Eve Newsom from Cape Canaveral, FL United States   Words can not adequately describe the QUALITY or BEAUTY of this incredibly VERSATILE Stainless Steel Mod. From the precision machining, to the SOLID build and performance, all I can say for me it's PERFECTION and right up there with SuperT devices. The brushed 'satin' finish is incredible, it may be a 'mini' but it will vape all day. Very solid product December 7, 2012 Reviewer: Ohm from Halethorpe, MD United States   Purchased the mini, tank, carts, extension, and extra battery.  Everything was well packaged and arrived in only a few days.  Only took a few minutes to get up and running. Only been using a few days but all I can say is WoW!  I have yet to revert or even feel the need for a analogue. I started off with a 3.0 Ohms cart tank setup for now.  They also shipped some 2 Ohms carts and I could definitely tell the difference between them.  I think I might be getting the 1.7 Ohm tank setup and thanks for the kind note on my invoice point that out!!   Awesome job to all! Favorite device so far... September 6, 2012 Reviewer: Jesse H from St Patrick, MO United States   I've owned a few different bottom button mods and this has to be the finest of them all. I quickly sanded the body and then bufed it to a mirror finish but that's only because I really can't stand the feel of satin metal. AWESOME VAPE August 22, 2012 Reviewer: Neil Woods from Vernon hills, IL United States   I have purchased from puresmoker before and was very pleased with my first device.  I then upgraded to the legacy mini and wow.  The craftsmanship behind this tiny device is spectacular.  And when it says mini, they mean mini.  I was surprised at how small this device is.  I also purchased the kick but I need to wait for the extension tubes to come back in stock.   By far, the best mod I've used.
