Q1: Your website doesn’t seem to have a ton of e-smoking general information on it. I’m brand new to e-cigs and totally confused! HELP!

A1: We recommend checking out two websites regarding e-smoking and our products. The first is e-cigarette-forum.com, and the second is vapersforum.com. Both are online forums that are frequented by e-smokers, as well as our customers and staff, and it can be very useful to find the answers to some common questions for new users.

Q2: I see the phrase “Manual Device” all over the place! What does “manual” mean?

A2: Manual simply means that the user must activate the device by pressing a manual button each time they inhale instead of the device being activated simply by inhaling.

Q3. What exactly is The PureSmoker Prodigy/Protege, and why doesn’t it look like a cigarette?

A3:  The PureSmoker Prodigy and Protege are battery housing unist that allow users to experience several different atomizers through the use of adapters. (Doesn’t that sound fancy?) The Prodigy and Protege adapters are currently available for the following atomizers:

 1. DSE801/Pen

2. DSE901/Mini

3. M401/Pilot

4. 510/Dura

The Prodigy was designed so that users could customize their experience for whatever voltage they prefer. The Prodigy comes standard with a 5v configuration, as we have found this to be the “sweet spot” for vaping.  The 5v configuration is comprised of a resistored switch, and (2) RCR123a 3v batteries. The resistor in the switch regulates the battery voltage down to 5v. For users who prefer to experience other voltages, we also offer an unresistored switch. This allows users to use (1) 18650 3.7v battery to experience 3.7v vaping, or (2) RCR123a 3v batteries to experience 6v.

The Prodigy and Protege allows users to drip liquid directly onto the atomizer, meaning there is no need for messy cartridges in the future. In fact, Pure Smoker does not even sell cartridges anymore because we do not recommend using them with any of our devices. It features a manual switch so that there is no chance of your batteries heating your atomizer and burning it out while in your pocket, purse, or in transit.

Q4: What is the difference between the 801, 901, and 510 Prodigy?

A4: The main differences between the 801 and the 901 (the 510 is comparable to the 901 in performance) are:

1. The 801 has a stronger throat hit than the 901.

2. The 901 produces more vapor and flavor.

3. The 801 has less battery life than the 901.

The 801 and 901 atomizers come with cigarillo type mouthpieces. The 510’s mouthpiece looks more like a cigarette.

Q5: What is the difference between the Prodigy and the USB Pass Through? Do I need one to use the other?

A5: The Prodigy is a portable battery operated device, while the USB pass through must be connected to a USB power source in order to operate. You do not need the USB pass through in order to use the Prodigy or vice-versa. Both units are compatible with the same model atomizers.

Q6: Are any of the adapters interchangeable between devices?

A6: The USB Pass Through adapters are interchangeable with the Protege adapters. However, the Prodigy adapters are not interchangeable with any other product.

Q7: Does Pure Smoker offer any bulk discounts?

A7: Pure Smoker offers bulk discounts on atomizers only. Atomizer models and colors can be mixed and matched, and the discounts are automatically applied at check-out. The prices are as follows:  (Non ACE Users)

1-4: $9.99/each

5-14: $8.00/each

15-24: $6.50/each

25+: $5.00/each

Q8: What is your warranty/return policy?

A8: Pure Smoker offers a 7 day money back guarantee on all hardware. Customers have 7 days from receiving the item to initiate the return process by submitting a ticket via our contact page. We will then provide return instructions.

Warranty:

* Standard Atomizers (510/801/901) and standard Li-Ion Batteries (RCR123a/18650/14500) batteries carry a 7 day limited warranty.

* The PureSmoker Ace Carries a 14 Day Warranty on Batteries and Chargers.  Atomz (Atomizers with Built in Cartridge, carry a DOA Warranty)

* The PureSmoker USB Pass Through carries a 3 month limited warranty.

*Prodigy and Protege hard parts (Adapters/Housing/Switch) carry a 6 month limited warranty.

* Bulk atomizer purchases do not carry any warranties.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any of our liquid products (Liquid and Atomz)- regardless of whether or not they have been opened or used.

Q9: What all do I need to order to get started?

A9: For a first time order, I'd recommend purchasing the a PureSmoker Ace Kit with 10-15 Atomz and/or a Protege Kit.  Along with that kit, we also suggest, 1-2 bottles of liquid in different flavors/strengths to see which ones become favorites, and 3-5 extra atomizers to keep on hand (assuming you are not using Atomz).

Q10: Ok, so I’m ready to place my order, but there are no drop down menus. What gives?

A10:  When there are no drop down menus, you cannot add an item to your cart, a message about cookies is shown, or a yellow triangle is displayed, it means that the product is out of stock. Pure Smoker is kept 100% live, so once the items are gone, you cannot order them. This prevents us from having a long backlog of orders, and keeps our shipping relatively fast. Q11: Can I use my personal vaporizer anywhere?

A11: While the personal vaporizer does not technically fall under any smoking bans, we recommend asking the establishment that you are in. Some places will allow you to, while others may not.

Q12:  Can Personal Vaporizers Help Me Quit Smoking Analogue/Traditional Cigarettes?

A12:  This is probably the #1 question we get day in and day out.  The short answer is; a personal vaporizer is NOT advertised/marketed as a smoking cessation (quitting) device.  There have been ZERO studies done on the success/failure rate of those who decide to try and quit smoking via personal vaporizers, therefore, at this time, it is only being marketed as a traditional tobacco alternative.  Now, this doesn’t mean its entirely impossible to quit.  Anything and Everything is possible, and perhaps, there are people out there reading this who have quit using personal vaporizers.  Some users have even reported having no desire to smoke traditional cigarettes after have had adapted to personal vaporizers.  In the end, it’s the user, not the device, who chooses to quite!

Q13:  Is a Personal Vaporizer (PV) intended for everyone?

Q13:  NO!  First and foremost, Personal Vaporizers are intended for ADULTS only.  Personal Vaporizers are not to be used by anyone under the legal smoking age of the state they currently reside in.  Some states, that 18, others are 21.

Other Groups that should consult a physician before use Include (but are not limited to):

* Those who suffer from heart disease or high blood pressure.

* Pregnant, nursing, or those thinking of becoming pregnant.

* Those allergic to nicotine or other PG based products.

Q14:  When I try to select a production option like Type, Flavor, Strength, etc… I see no options or I get a bright yellow Triangle?

A14:  PureSmoker.com stays live 100% of the time.  That means, when a product is out of stock, the option for it will disappear.  Although the “In Stock” status may still appear and say that it is, when options disappear, it’s actually not.  Sorry this may be confusing for some, but its our only way to keep backorders to a minimum which in turn, allows clients to know what have 100% of the time.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

*** Keep out of reach of children and pets/animals. This is especially true for cartridges and liquids.
*  In case of persistent sore throat, discontinue use.  This could be a sign of a PG allergy.
*  Lithium-Ion batteries may pose a fire risk. Do not leave unattended while charging.

*  Keep cartridges in a cool dark place.
*  If a Personal Vaporizer is not going to be in use for an extended period of time, remove the cartridge so the excess liquid does not damage the electronic components.
*  Once a cartridge is open, use within 1-2 weeks.
