The Icon is a quality, mechanical mod that delivers a great vaping experience when paired with a LR Boge cartomizer or a LR Joye 306 atomizer. The only downsides of the Icon that I can see are that I have to recharge the batteries a couple of times a day and I have had problems with the atomizer connection. The connection seems a little loose to me and I have had to fiddle with it to get some of my cartomizers to fire properly. Also, when the cartomizers are screwed into the connection, they seem to wiggle a little. Not much, but enough to be of some concern.

This is my outside the house mod. I was looking for something small and that I could take to work. More or less eGo sized and pocket friendly.
I have been in and out off machine shops half my life. The maker of my ICON should be proud as he has done a fine job. All threads are smooth, 2 large vent holes and switch that fires every time. AW IMR and Tenergy both fit great with no problems.
I am a happy puresmoker.com customer. Fast shipping great prices and top quality USA made product. Thank You puresmoker for what you do and the people you help.

In a nutshell, this is a "mini Prodigy". If my wife's hands were bigger, she would've stole that one from me too. It's always in her purse and now she is a 100% e smoker! For the two days I've got to use it, this little guy gives a good hit and produces plenty of vapor.
It's a good thing I bought a Prodigy and Icon at the same time. Well worth the money and absolutely no complaints about both products! She was a half-pack smoker/day and is still on her first battery from 4 days ago.

Great upgrade for this penstyle user

After years of replacing penstyle batteries from other shops I was looking for something more durable. My husband has used a prodigy for the last year, so I of course was going with Puresmoker.
The style is lovely. I got the blasted finish and love it. It's small enough to fit in my purse or pocket, which was important to me.
I found it easy to use and set up, and got used to the bottom button over a side button easily.
I'm currently favoring the LR boge carto's but I'm still testing cartos. I find I do go through liquid faster with the icon, but it's worth it for the consistency.
It took a while choosing between the prodigy and the icon. With a low res carto the vapor is warm and has a good enough hit that i'm happy. Make no mistake, once you've tried 6v, nothing is quite the same. At 6v it's more like a hookah draw. The icon is like a really good penstyle ecig. For my daily use though the Icon is perfect, and I trust it to really last.

just recieved the icon. This device is awesome!! I am using a lr boge carto and i am in heaven. Clouds of vapor and a really good throat hit!! The icon is very well made and is the best mod i have tried at 3.7 volts. Very good quality. I would reccomend this mod to serious vapors!!

After many weeks of research, I finally pulled the trigger on the Icon, and am very impressed. This is my first PV, so can't compare it to others, but my initial impressions:
Workmanship: Beautifully designed and finished (I got the "media-blasted" finish). Simple, clean design. Looks great, not much to go wrong. The button is perfect and lockable.
Performance: Using the 3.7V battery and a LR 510 Boge carto, the Icon produces a ton of warm, lovely vapor. It fits my hand perfectly, and is eminently pocketable and portable.
Customer Service: Super-fast delivery, and Jo answered my many pre-purchase questions.
Bottom Line: I have had this for only 2 days, but haven't had an analog since I got it. I was looking for something to get me off analogs, and provide the enjoyment, hand/mouth stuff, and taste. The Icon does all this, and feels pretty indestructible.
I'm very happy with my purchase.

I received the Icon today in the mail, charged up the batteries, and been vapen on it for the last 4 hours. It was all I had hoped, and more. It will for sure be my all day PV at work, just drop it in my pocket with a full cardo, and go. Great job PURESMOKER!

I made the switch from my first PV, the Joye 510, to the Icon just 4 days ago and it has made a world of difference. The batteries on the smaller PV didn't last long enough to keep me from smoking normal cigarettes. To be fair I only have 2 batteries for the Joye 510 and they could have possibly worked if I had more, but I would be charging batteries every hour. The battery life on my Icon is excellent and the vapor production is fantastic! I have had no trouble staying off cigarettes from the moment I opened the box of my new PV. If you are struggling with a smaller PV I would recommend the Icon 100%. The size is perfect for carrying anywhere you go. The Icon is the greatest thing that has happened since I was first turned on to PVs. I am VERY happy with this purchase!

Perfection

Pure Smoker took baby steps toward e-smoking perfection, and they finally reached it with this thing.
Prior to my Icon V1 (which I bought right at release) I had a Prodigy V2, Prodigy V3 and a Protege V1.1 (and assorted Minis from other companies). With each generation of cig, they've gotten better and better. This puts out loads of vapor with a LR BE112. I'm still wishy washy about getting off the old analogs, but if anything is going to do it for me, it's this.

After doing a ton of research on PV's, I finally decided to go with the icon. Man am I pleased with this decision. The construction is really well done. Feels solid in my hand and the weight is reassuring. It produces really incredible vapor, the batter life is amazing (im probably doing about 5 pulls an hour while at work.. when i get home I change out the batter and charge the one i used all day), and it looks classy as hell.
I'd highly recommend this (already have to a few friends actually) to anybody interested in a compact performer.
A+++ Puresmoker!!!
